Sore Willie- Help!

My 4 year old DS has a sore willie under his fore skin. He says he pulled it back and it 'clicked'. It's really red and looks very sore. Dh thinks I should take him to the GP. Might it just heal on it's own?

i would go to the gp - it's an area you don't want to be taking chances with. When i tore my achillies (sp?) tendon that sounded like a 'click' - so it's worth getting checked out.

Just a thought - can he still wee and poo ok?

LynetteScavo · 29/04/2007 10:50

He can still wee fine.

Then leave it till tomorrow and see GP -unless it gets worse, or he wants to see someone sooner. - i wouldn't recommend ice there, but a cool cloth might help with swelling, and take nurofen for pain in preference to calpol as it is more effective in reducing inflamation.

Thanks josie, I hadn't even thought of calpol, (duh!) Well see the GP tommorw.
