Lost all ability to smell or taste but don't feel ill - why?

I've vaguely got hayfever but a pill in the morning puts completely under control so don't see that as the reason. I do feel slightly under the weather but heck a teething baby is a good enough reason for that! . so any other thoughts as to why I can no longer taste or smell?

can you smell or taste at all? If absolutely nothing I'd go to the dr, especially if you have had a bang on the head recently.

Possibly the hayfever has affected your sinuses.
