I'm going for lots of tests at 2 hospitals for urology and gynae.
Urology are now doing tests for a fistula - most likely between bladder and vagina - and got impression their expecting to find one. I am now really worried as I have none of the normal causes - did have a bad labour - induction over 3 days/IVF/ventouse/stiches/small op to remove placenta with first but over 10 years ago so really can't see that being the cause.
Everything I'm seeing online is just listing cancer as the other cause and fast growing cancer that has spread mostly. I have all the symptoms of cervical cancer and a closing ureter and bone pain and dizziness / tiredness, vaginal and rectal bleeding. Age is early 40s. When did IVF years ago FSH was very low but on last scan I had gained a fibroid and one had shrunk. This appears to normally be caused low estrogen. Seeing gynae for results of scan on 6/2. Haven't had recent blood tests. Going a bit crazy at the moment worrying its cancer and I'll be dead in less than a year. It's not me I'm worried about, its my little boy who is ASD and completely Mummy obsessed, my girl could probably just about cope. Sometimes no one can calm my little boy but me and he thinks I'm the most perfect person that ever existed.
I have got private medical insurance but haven't a clue what to do next. I do have a tendency to panic but equally don't want to hear don't worry if I need to plan. Don't know if anyone knows anything, I just want a realistic idea of if its likely to be cancer, what tests I need, what to ask. I've called the GP and they are ringing me back, it is such a specialist area. Smears have come back clear and one quite recently, bladder scan didn't show anything, they wouldn't tell me result of vaginal scan other than 2 small fibroids and had impression something might be wrong.
