Bulgy vein in boob

Hi all,

Need a bit of support as I'm a massive over-worrier with anything medical.

This morning noticed a very bulgy vein on my left boob. Comes right down from my arm to my nipple. Seems to have arrived overnight.

No I've had a google, silly I know. Mondors disease is coming up, as is it being an indicator of cancer..... obviously I'll get to the gp tomorrow but has anyone else experienced this?

Definitely not pregnant but did get the coil fitted two months ago.

No harm on getting the go to look at it. When you say bulgy is it raised above the skin or is it that you can just see your veins through your skin?

Just asking because my veins in my boobs are really clear like a bloody road map sometimes. They've been this way since I was pregnant nearly ten years ago, never resumed to normal.

However, as this is not normal for you and it's a new symptom I'd get it checked out. It's most probably nothing to worry about.

No they are raised and it's gone almost like a piece of cord/rope. V hard and lumpy. Quite painful.

Dr Google reckons it's some rare self limiting disease, Mondors, normally benign. GP said thrombosis but a very unusual location and to report back in a week, keep an eye on changes etc. All very weird and rather disconcerting 😬
