My back/shoulder blade area in my right side really reaaly hurts. Started yesterday evening and gradually got worse. Not is so sore. DH thinks I might have pulled a muscle. Not sure sure how. It hurts to breathe deeply and cough, it hurts when I move, but also hurts when I lay still too.

How before it stops hurting?

Do you have an osteopath near you Hulababy ?

I had a similar sort of problem last week, mine was right shoulder and up neck, suffered horrendous headaches for a few days before I gave in to osteopath and he now has it all fixed - only took one appointment now right as rain.

Hope it gets better soon

Not that I am aware of. If it lasts I guess it is something I could look into.

Babysitting my 10 month old niece tomorrow and off to the zoo with her, my DH and 5yo DD. So fingers crossed it is okay tomorrow!

hula have you had a bad cold or chest infection? severe coughing can pull intercostal muscles

Hulababy · 27/04/2007 08:35

I have had/got a bit of a nasty cough actually. Was coughing quite bad yesterday at work, what with coming in and out of hot/cold rooms all the time. It made it worse. Never thought about that. Guess it could be the coughing that has done it. Argh. Still have a hugely tickly throat now but ouch! Coughing just hurts so much.

Going to go and grab some painkillers I think.

Have hair appointment at 12 for my highlights and a cut. Dreading having my hair washed now.

If you do get to the zoo make sure DH see's to your neice - you'll no doubt do more damage carrying her etc

Will do. Looks like he will have to be in charge of nappy changes, etc then

Never had this before. Can't believe how much it hurts!
