Late period but definitely not pregnant - why? Do I need to see a Dr?

I'm 41 years old, 2 DC. Came off pill in April (rigevidon) because it was making my anxiety and depression worse. Since then my periods have been pretty normal (cycle is normally between 24 and 29 days). Today is day 33 since my last period started. We've been using condoms for contraception and there were no mishaps since my last period. I even did a pregnancy test today because I'm very anxious about it (absolutely categorically never want any more babies!) It was negative. I did take the MAP in September and the subsequent period was a couple of days late (massive stress). Could this still have an effect 4 months on? I was ill a couple of weeks ago with a flu-type virus and I am on a diet at the moment but not drastic (I've lost 5lbs since New Year. Has anyone had this? Should I see a Dr? No pain or other problems
