can chronically swollen adenoids and tonsils cause enlarged neck lymph nodes that never quite shrink back to normal size? are the tonsils/adenoids/neck lymph nodes linked?

They are linked in that they are all part of the lypmhatic system I think - so I guess they will be physically linked by lymphative vessels (tubes carrying lymphatic fluid)
