weird toe rash

hi all, this will sound stupid probably but anyway....
i developed a weird red rsh on my toes on both feet a couple of weeks ago, nowhere else just the toes. it was slightly lumpy, bright bright pink/red which started off more spotty then gradually merged together. its still there and in certain lights it looks purple and other times its not that noticeable. it doesnt itch though it did for a short time, though i think it only itched because i kind of thought it should iyswim so i scratched it and then it did itch! anyway it looks horrible but def not going to doctor about it as dont want to waste their time- i'll waste your time instead! LOL!- anyway, any idea what it could be?

See a pharmacist and show them your foot.

It may be athletes foot (its a fungal infection that can occur between the toes).

If it does not improve after seeking their advice would counsel that you see your GP or a podiatrist.

Could be a bit of excema. Think I got it a few years back if I remeber correctly. Had never had excema in amy form before and then ther was this rash on my big toe.
See the GP and if it is come nbck and give me a gold star!
A bit of cream will clear it up in a day or 2.

mmm i have always had eczema on my hands quite badly but it doesnt look like that. unless its a different kind of eczema perhaps. do you think its poss to get athletes foot on top of toes rather thn between them? theres nothing between the toes and its not itchy or smelly.
