Anyone ever had Bowen technique therapy or used a chiropractor for a child?

Interested in others experience, dd 7 has ongoing back pain for over a year, lots of medical investigations, blood tests, mri etc but nothing has shown a cause, there’s been plenty of other issues alongside recently many aches and pains, neck pain and headaches etc

When we last saw her paediatrician I asked if was ok to take her to a chiropractor and she advised that she couldn’t give me any guidance on it as no medical evidence etc etc but that she was happy for me to do so as long as no manipulation takes place...

I myself have used a chiropractor whilst pregnant for backache and primarily very painful spd And have found them to be amazing, alleviating most if not all of the pain, with only very slight and gentle manipulations.

A family member saw someone who does the Bowen technique and found she helped them, I don’t know much about this to be honest.

Interested to see if anybody else has used a chiropractor with their child or anyone either adult or child has had Bowen technique and what was your experience?

I’ve had a short session of Bowen technique therapy during a demonstration. It is very gentle. I’d imagine it’s very suitable for children.

I had Bowen it was OK, but not as good as my chiropractor. But then my chiropractor does a lot of deep tissue massage first, and it’s that which makes a big difference to my back.

Our chiropractor sees lots of children. I first took DS when he was about 9 and it really helped.
