Tonsilitis

Pretty sure my dd has Tonsilitis, symptons of it and a few kids at school off sick with it. Is it worth going to the GP, the website I checked said it gets better on its own. Our GP's are a nightmare, dont want to have to sit in a waiting room for an hour and half for them to tell me to give her calpol, which I'm doing anyway.

Depends how bad it is. We had tonsilitis here and needed antibiotics, a mild case would probably go awat on its own. Could always wait a day or two and see what happens if your DD is not too bad?
