I am v pro vaccine. Got my kids the men b vaccine as soon as I was able to.
After reading the thread on mumsnet about the woman whose healthy go husband died from meningitis w strain and how it is on the rise I have arranged for my husband to have the vaccine. At £45 for one dose it seems like a no brainer. I can’t have it now as am pregnant but I wasn’t sure whether to get the children vaccinated too. I have read that the men b vaccine offers some protection but wasn’t sure how much.
What have others that have had the men b vaccine done?
