Day 10 of flu and still feeling rubbish, is that to be expected?

Never had flu before so don't know how it pans out. I still feel ill, tho not as bad as last week since no temp now. But still breathless, feel like I have a lump of concrete in my chest, no energy and just want to be asleep. How much longer?? Sad

Another couple of weeks probably, possibly slightly less if you look after yourself really well, eat properly, early nights, that sort of thing.

Flu can knock you out for 2-3 weeks. The initial sneezing and coughing and feeling ill etc is usually over in a few days, but feeling tired and breathless can last for another week or two after that. It can also turn into a chest infection such as pneumonia or bronchitis that persists after the flu has gone.

Normal, sorry. I'm heading into week 3 and my doctor was completely disinterested.

At least Week 5 here and just about starting to feel a little more normal.
