Has anyone got any experience of this condition?

Dr.Google has made me stumble across it, but wanted to ask someone who may have had it or a HCP if it builds up over days/time or would it be obvious from the onset.

As not to drip-feed my only symptoms are a small swelling to the temple area on one side about 5 cm long which is tender to touch and only came on this afternoon.

A slight headache and low level temp 37.5 but have had a cold for a few days.

I am away from home and not near normal GP, but can & will see one as a temporary patient if needed tomorrow. But it could just be nothing or a bruise.

So if you have had it or know about it, it is the early days/stages I am interested in reading about.

My advice would be to stay away from Dr Google!

You sound like you have a head cold Hmm

You are right it is probably nothing or just a cold - it is just the swelling/swollen bit on the right temple feels a bit odd.

Keep an eye on it

Stop stressing

Enjoy the rest of your Christmas

Oh fuck yes. My DM has it.

Stay away from Dr Google. Those are far from my DM's only symptoms - think agonizing pain all over her head to point of being unable to brush her hair, extreme fatigue, visual problems, pain deep in her ears, utter fucking misery. It was undiagnosed for months but symptoms came on suddenly overnight.

Honestly, I do think you are more likely to have a cold.

Ok got it & stepped away -

Will see what occurs of random tender swollen bit.

Woke up to dark bruising on side of eye and fluid/ swelling on temple and in a line into hair area with terrible pain in temple. Taken ibuprofen & will See Pharmacist if needed later or tomorrow.

How are you today? That sounds alarming.
