Irregular bleeding, is it contraception's fault

Hiya
I've been bleeding irregulary for two days, after having no bleed for 16months! Hence it being an irregular bleed.

What could cause it?

I am on the implant and I didn't bleed for the first for weeks but have been bleeding for the last 3 months!Not heavy but berluddy annoying! I thought this irregular bleeding only usually happened in the first few months though so might be best getting it checked out with the docs. Sure it's nothing to worry about though.
