Sore skin inner thigh what’s best

Was walking about in minus temperatures wearing jeans now that I’ve taken them off the skin on my inner thighs feels sore it’s not from thighs rubbing might have been inner seams but wasn’t obviously rubbing while walking. Weird thing is I’m in New York and I’ve had had this sore skin thing before when I’ve visited during cold weather in the past and it always seems to happen after a shower. I really don’t understand it or how best to remedy it, does anyone have a clue what I’m talking about and how to deal with it?

It hurts after a shower? So your skin went from very cold air to hot water? That would cause most skin to get upset. I'd transition the temp more slowly. Also wear thermal leggings to keep your legs much warmer.

Sudocrem or whatever “diaper cream” they have over there.

I suffer from this in winter - my inner thigh skin is very delicate. I highly recommend Burts Bees Baby Bee multipurpose ointment. It's sensitive enough for baby skin and acts as a barrier cream but actually moisturises and heals my skin.
