I'm trying to find some clothing that my son can't wriggle out of at night and scratch himself from. Any suggestions? It'd also be interesting to hear other mothers of eczema babies experiences. Do they grow out of it?

My DS doesn't have really really bad eczema but when it flares up I put him to bed in a long sleeved vest and a grobag (just a 0.5 tog one if its really warm). I also make sure his nails are trimmed to be on the safe side.

we used babygros and grobag (in winter) and those all in one 'playsuit' type things in summer plus lots of dungarees (long or short) so he couldn't get 'in' to his chest or back. my ds hasn't grown out of it (at 17mo) but it is a lot better with the right treatment. We saw a dermatologist in the end, because it was getting bad and affecting his eating/ sleeping.
