Bleeding (may be a bit tmi), is this the start of the implant contraceptive messing me about?!

I've been with the implant contraceptive for over a year, I had it placed in since Jan 2006, and I haven't bled at all.

Today, I've had an on-off bleed, would this happen after having no bleed for over a year? Or can it be something else?

watching this thread with interest, sure we have spoken about this before- Ive had mine in since nov 04 and for the past couple of months have had an on off very light bleeding (old blood, like brown),

anyone got any experience of the implant?
