Glands up after flu nasal spray in child

So 6 year old son has had glands like golf balls since about a week after the flu spray. He seems pretty ok in himself, slight runny nose but nothing major. No sore throat but his tonsils look huge.

Spoke to the doctor who seemed unconcerned but I’m a health anxiety sufferer and I’m loosing my mind over this. Help!

It is a sign that the immune system is working & that the vaccine is working. As long as he is not unwell, don't worry & it will settle down in a few days

My DD is 4 and the flu vaccine hit her hard - she had a very high temp and very groggy. She was poorly for about 4-5 days.

My DS is 5 and he wasn't bothered by it, just had a runny nose.

I would say it's most likely to do with the flu vaccine!

It’s just that it was a week before I noticed these glands and now I’m obsessed. Every day I’m getting more and more panicked even though he seems fine. I’m trying not to google as that is the worse thing ever. I have booked doctors for next week.
