I'm a bit confused with dd2. DS has had it for almost 3 weeks so is paractically over it.

DD1 (5) had her first spot yesterday and is today feeling unwell and shivery.

DD2 (1) has been unwell the last few days, slight temp and shivery - bit like when you have flu, but can't find any spots. Could she have the virus without the spots or is that just not chicken pox?

I think it is possible, but it may mean that she's not fully immune properly.

(*practically(

So if she did catch it from ds and does have it without the spots, does the fact that she hasn't got it properly mean that she could get it again now from dd?

There were 3 of us at home - baby brother was covered in spots inside and out, sis had flu-like reaction and some spots, I had worse flu-like fever and very few spots at all. None of us have had it again....

If it's just a cold, she could catch it now from DD1.
