Finishing Esmya, what to expect

As part of my ongoing fun with fibroids, I've been taking Esmya for the last three months, they're been great for me and I've managed to get myself back to work and life.

Will take my last pill this week, the plan is to have a period using Transexamic and then they planned another three month course of the Esmya, before reviewing the situation.

Just wondering what's going to happen, is this going to be the period from hell? Just in time for Christmas? Anyone had any experience of what's likely to happened at the end of this course?

How did it go? I have just started on Esmya - first month nearly finished.

Just read here (France) that they have stopped issuing further prescriptions of Esyma as it has been linked to liver disease. I was on it whist waiting for a hysterectomy and it was wonderful but now am worried. I don't think it should be prescribed for more than Three months.

That warning has also been issued in the UK - it popped up on my news feed yesterday. I rang the doctor's surgery and they know nothing about it and told me to ring my consultant.

There's been 5 cases, one in the UK, of liver failure with 4 resulting in liver transplant!

Doesn't look very promising, does it?
