Throbbing sharp stabbing pains as it does take my breath away and I'm literally arching over. it feel like my appendix ready to burst but its in the wrong area anyway. (I've already had it out years ago).

It happens a few times now in the last couple of weeks.

Ooooooowwwwwww

Best to get checked as it could be your gall bladder, or stomach issue like hiatus hernia or ulcer.

Fairylea · 22/11/2017 15:07

I agree you need it checking. If the pain is severe I would go to A and E.

Could be your pancreas, make sure they do bloods to rule it out.

biglips · 22/11/2017 17:04

Docs said my stomach is inflamed and its either spicy foods which I had curry last night or it could be stress which I am a stress head.

I've gotta do a diary for 3 wks to see if there any connection and if not go away after 4 weeks of taking these tablets (omeprazole) ill go back and book in for a endoscopy.

Just to give you a heads up- Omeprazole is the cheaper / slightly different version of Nexium; which you can buy over the counter. I have taken both and I find I can take Nexium with no problems but Omeprazole really makes me feel quite strange / lightheaded. Lots of people do take it with no issues whatsoever though. I hope you feel better soon.

I'm ok on this tabs. But in the end, I had to take a 6 plus medicine and a ibuprofen as just couldn't walk or stand up straight. As had a hot bath with my dh helping me.

Now I'm shattered!.

Thank you everyone for your advices....i really appreciated it

Don't take ibuprofen if you have stomach pain!

AristonAndOn · 22/11/2017 20:59

I hope you get better, but please if it gets really bad, go to a and e. I had an ambulance with very severe pain under the rib cage and it was gallstones, though the diagnosed indigestion on that first visit?! 3 more hospital visits later and I had my gallbladder out.

biglips · 23/11/2017 19:04

Relax - The painkiller and ibuprofen took the pain away more or less straight away.

Ariston - omg. Glad u are better now.

I'm feeling fine now but tired.

Thanks everyone again

Glad you're feeling better, but ibuprofen causes stomach irritation, the suspicion which was why you were taking omeprazole (right?), so it's a bit like taking a headache pill and then banging your head against a wall... (Caveat: IANAMD)
