I'm new to this so please bare with me. But I've just come back from the doctors more worried than when I went in. I started bleeding this morning randomly, never happened before, in the middle of my cycle so not due on for another couple of weeks. The doctor did an internal and said she could see a spot on the wall of my cervix. Should I be worried? She did swabs and said i'll the results in a week but I'm so worried now! Please someone help!

I have a cervical erosion (also known as a cervical ectropian) which causes bleeding in between periods and appears as a dark spot on the cervix! I suspect this is what it could be... If it is then it’s totally harmless and absolutely nothing to worry about. It’s especially common with women who take the pill. I have a couple of friends who also have the same thing! Smile

You can also get harmless cervical polyps, I’ve had them pre children and was always told they were normal, they were small painless bumps. Think they’ve gone now.
