ten year old with very itchy bottom. any ideas/

in the evenings he gets very upset by how much it hurts. keeps saying ihe needs to poo, but nothing. says very painful
but i hve checked his bottom, and it all looks normal. not inflamed or anything. sent him to bed after giving him some germolene to put on it. thought the anesthetic might soothe it.
he has been complaining bout this for a few days now. anyon have any ideas or experience?

also when you wash stuff add grapefruit seed extract to the final rinse.

also good for washing nappies with and putting in the nappy bucket, nits, cleaning and spots!

Eggs take 14 days to hatch to maturity, so can still be present even if tablets taken to kill live worms. Scratching is worse at night and when asleep might do it without knowing, so for two weeks make LO sleep with pants on. Wash hands as soon as wakes up. Then in the shower for a hose down (DD got them and that is what I had to do). Also not just bedding needs washing, also wipe down everything he/she may have touched.
