pneumoccocal antibodies low

just got a call from childrens hospital, they said results from blood tests carried out on dd show that she has low antibodies something to do with pneumoccocal and that she needs 2 vaccinations, so i didnt take it in and just said is it serious and he said no but we,ll discuss it at the next appointment.

has anyone heard of this before?

yes, my son had that. he was given pneumovax and 2 doses of prevenar 6 weeks apart
