Hi all, please can someone advise me. My Nikki is 15mths, only has two top and two bottom teeth. She is sick of pureed food and likes to nibble on sausages. What food can I feed her for dinner? I dont want to mush it all together anymore, but scared she won´t eat chopped chicken etc. Tried it once and it all went to the floor. At the moment she does not want to eat anything! I am at my witts end. Scared she is hungry...

Nickinha

have you heard of Annabel Karmel? i think almost every mother here has got a copy of her book on how to feed your baby. her website is
www.cookingforchildren.co.uk/recipes.htm
which contains receipes and info.

hope this gives you some ideas. my DD loved peas, broccoli, cucumber sticks (without skin), very soft carrot sticks - she still adores these now and i use them as healthy snacks during the day.

Cheese slices, cauli, brocoli, fishfingers, pasta, rice, carrot sticks, apple chunks and bernard mathews Turkey Ham, by the packet load, I tell you if I ever met Bernard Mathews I would kiss him (well maybe not) . Infact I found my dd at 18 months old with the fridge door open, sat on the floor, eating the damn ham that was supposed to be in my packed lunch the following day, then she went onto sausage rolls and scotch eggs and she still pinches them from the fridge today!!! and she is now 4, still bless em

Did you know that if you give your dd/ds a banana before they go to bed (well not as you are tucking them up) maybe 1/2 hour before with a glass of milk, it send chemicals to the brain to calm down and sleep. It works all the time for my dd, still use it when she is playing up.
