What could these be on DS2's ear?

On the outer part of his ear - the rim if you like, there are a few tiny white raised blisters? Haven't ever seen them before and wondered what they could be

Are they irritating him?
does he sleep on that side?
could be molluscum

He tends to lie on his back when sleeping. He says they aren't itchy, they are quite noticeable, I had another look after I posted and they are more clear than white - opaque would be a better word

could be molluscum. My dd1 had it, and it looked as you descibe. they lasted several weeks and went away without causing a problem

So what is molluscum then? Sorry I 've never heard of it>

it's a spots/small blisters like you've descibed caused by a virus. They can cause irritaion, but they were no problem for my dd. It's nothing serious.

(unless they're scratched and become infected)
