HELP!! I’ve woken up with a cracked nipple & I’m not pregnant or breastfeeding!

Just that really!

I’ve woken up in agony with a cracked nipple. Completely out of the blue. No friction has occurred to the area. I’m a health anxiety sufferer so I instantly stress about these things. Does anyone know what this could be? Thank you.

Could be a million things OP but also could be serious (which I know you don't want to hear). Ring the doctors as soon as it opens. Hopefully will just be a bit of thrush or something!
