Itchy legs after showering driving me mad!

Does anyone else get really, super, maddeningly itchy legs after showering? I've had this my whole life but it comes and goes, I think it is worse when it is colder when you get out of the shower. At the moment it is really bad, I've stopped showering every day and am going through labourious and undignified sink washing instead! When I have to shower I'm coating my lower legs in Vaseline before I get in and dressing as quickly as possible, finishing off with knee high boots to try to protect them. This has definitely helped but it's not great. Please tell me you have an easy solution or at least commiserate with me!

Glad you had success! I find that keeping the water temperature cool makes things much better for me, but minimising air contact is also helpful.

At night you say? Hmmm, Now that I recall, I don't really remember my legs itching that much at all during the night. It usually only happens in the morning or afternoon
