If you're squeamish I don't wish to offend so don't open - relates to a wart

I have what feels like a wart on my back. It's just in a random place on my back. I have a phobia of lumps so it freaks me out. That and I'm wondering whether I have picked up some horrible disease. Clearly I can't see it, but I can feel it. Would a GP be incensed if I made an appointment for him to examine it? To be honest I'm more concerned that it's some wart contractable illness than it being melanoma, but I can't see the damned thing as it's nearly in the middle of my back. It seems to be getting bigger too.

Of course you can make an appointment! It's fine. Any skin changes should be looked at. Chances are it's not a wart but a skin tag.
