mould and asthma

i have been very ill with constant coughs and colds and asthma and my house was moudy, the council have finally sent someone out to sort this out and i started feeling better although there are still small areas of damp and mould along every window sill and skirting board.

Just been looking up asthma on internet and found that children newly diagnosed with asthma may have been in mouldy housing situations.

My toddler has a persistent cough; she never goes long without getting a cold so i though she just didnt have a good immune system but am now concerned she may have asthma.

I am really beating myself up that i didn't just pay to get the mould sorted mysself, even though i know asthma is common i feel very sad that she may have it. I would rather she got it because its just "one of those things";thinking the mould could have done it is rally bothering me.

Sorry for rambling and i know she may not even have it but pregnancy hormones making me very emotional!
