Bad back...how long to leave it before going to Drs?

No idea what I've done.
Woke up Saturday in pain...when I straighten up, when I lift things and when I lift my arms up above shoulder height.
I have 2 herniated discs at L1 and L2 (both conformed by mri) but this is different - it's not back either side of my spine
Not really sure what Dr can do
I'm trying to keep moving, using heat and paracetamol but it's not easing
Ideas? Tips?

See an osteopath

Seconding osteopath!

I’d suggest a TENS machine - a good sturdy one not the flimsy
little ones.

My osteopath would be my first choice absolutely amazing

Dr probably can't help. Find a good physio is my suggestion. I have a DC with scoliosis and would always prefer a physio.
