tight chest - help

I have had a cold for a few weeks, culminating on feeling very streaming and rough on saturday.
last night and the night before I can't sleep for the tightness in my chest.
it is Awful. I thought about going to A & E
i go for a walk with my dog and it is awful.
driving or sitting at home seems ok.

there is nothing to Bring up, if you like. I dont smoke, I vape. at least with smoking I would have had a productive cough.

what is the cure?

i now am the owner of an inhaler and steroid tabs. antibiotics not at the moment.
what a relief. it was a struggle to walk to surgery.

Hope you feel better soon, were you told NOT to take the steroids tonight as you won't be able to sleep? First thing in the morning is best.

oh, no i took them about 10 ish this morning.
