Hi
I'll start at the beginning.

Ichiness ~ For he last year I have had itchy leg in occasionally in the evenings, this has steadily got worse to the stage of almost making my legs bleed with the scratching, it is now affecting my chest, neck and arms.

Nausea ~ For the last 10 days I have felt sick ~ no pain in my stomach just a really horrible nauseous feeling in my mouth. Only way I feel better is to have mints or chewing gum. N ol oss of appetite though.

Dizzy ~ I have had occasinal dizzy spells in the last week with one really bad one where I went to completely the wrong end of my living room cos I just couldnt get my body to go the way I wanted it to. I also have to sit on bathroom floor when I have got out of the bath as it makes me very light headed.

Tiredness ~ My get up and go has got up and gone.

Trouble with words. ~ Over the last week I keep getting the beginningso f one word mixed up with the next word all very annoying.

I have recently put on 7lbs in weight but think this could be due to giving up smoking 4 months ago.
I am generally a very well person ~ Can't remember last doctors appointment apart from Smear test. I do suffer from heavy periods but this has always been the case esp. since DD was born 8yrs ago.

I am seriously considering a drs appointment tomorrow if I can get one after the bank holiday weekend. Any advice appreciated.

Go to the doctor's. It's a lot of stuff to be dealing with - I'd get it checked out. Well done re the smoking

Could be a thyroid issue (had a friend who had a couple of those symptoms when hers was playing up) but generally I'd go to the docs and take that list with you, make sure you state it all and how much it is worrying you - it's so easy to feel rushed once you get into an appointment. All the best.

Definately go to the doctors. But (if you are so inclined) you could also try the homeopathic remedy Ipecac. I normally hesitate to recommend remedies on here as you really do need a proper consultation to get the right one (I'm a lowly student atm) but your symptoms fit the common Ipecac picture so perfectly.

Have been to doctors today. he think it could be a virus affecting my balance mechanisms but i have to go bk for some blood tests tomorrow to make sure it is nothing else.

Was thinking thyroid or pregnancy myself...

Could it be hormone related?
