Nausea in afternoon/early eve

Has anyone an idea what this could be? I've fairly run down at the moment as I have two small children but in the late pm/early evenings I just feel awful - very nauseous and have been sick a few times, headaches and a bit shaky/cold.
I was tested for anemia with tiredness a few months ago and am on iron and vitamin d tablets. I've also put on a lot of weight recently.
I'm 100% not pregnant btw (tested even to make sure!)

Have you been checked for diabetes?

Blueberrysandgrapes76 · 03/10/2017 04:55

Yes - they checked a while back because I also go to the loo loads in the night. i think I'm just run down!

Hi,

Did you check for low blood pressure? Since you checked for diabetes and its normal, its ruled out. So, another possible cause might be Ulcer. Please check with a GP.

Thanks Emma - I will go to gp as it's been going on a long time

Coeliacs can cause low iron and the other symptoms you mention

Blueberrysandgrapes76 · 03/10/2017 05:30

I'm in my late 30s though - could I develop coeliac now without having symptoms before?

Yes, you can. A close friend of mine was diagnosed in their 50s. What they'd thought was mild IBS worsened dramatically over a few months and that triggered diagnosis.

Yes, its most common to be diagnosed in childhood or between the ages of 40-60
