Molluscum Contagiosum - HELP!!!

Please help - does anyone have a tried and tested cure for Molluscum Contagiosum?? My DD(6) has had them for approximately 2 years and they are showing absolutely no sign of going! The ones on her torso have improved but the ones around her buttocks/top of legs/bottom area just aren’t going away. They get inflamed/sore/infected and she’s a bit self conscious of them now. I have taken her back to the dr who suggested an emollient in the bath, bathing every day, applying an antiseptic cream after bathing and gave me some Fucidin cream but none of this has worked. I thought they would be gone within 18months - 2years, how long can this pesky virus last?! 😩

All my kids have had them, middle one still has a few. They were unsightly but did clear up eventually. I found tea tree oil in the bath seemed to help dry them out for my youngest, who had them the worst, then they cleared (totally unscientific experiment, may have cleared anyway, but it makes the bath smell nice!)

Both of my DC had it - I tried everything!!! Turned to homeopathy in desperation and gone in 2 weeks. Was it that? Who knows. Thuja worked for DS and Carb Calc for DD
