Poor thing, she sounds really rattly and has what looks like the beginnings of a blocked nose. Am going to vapourise some eucalyptus but DH is just getting over similar (although, being a man, he was much worse !_ - should I get some medicine for her to nip it in the bud? She's vomited most of her breakfast when trying to clear her nasty rattle...TIA

Poor thing, yes vaporuise and get some steam going take dd into the bathroom with you as you take a shower and put some eucalyptus oil near her bed and maybe try elevating the head of the bed up to help drain off the catarrah off the chest. I am trying all this with 11mth DS and it does help - good luck and capol

Sorry about the spelling I am feeling pretty rubbish today

OK, thanks, will try all those. Poor baby, have just got her to take breakfast (again), she sat up, coughed hard and brought most of it back up again.

Difference between her and manflu though is that she smiles like a little trooper afterwards!
