Try massaging her tum with oil in a clockwise direction. Lots of vit c too - orange juice, a smoothie.

Sez23 · 07/04/2007 22:08

would calpol help? she just seems in so much pain

OP posts:
Rumpel · 07/04/2007 22:11

Hmm might help with the pain but the problem is painkillers slow down gut transit times so long term might make it worse. Keep bumping and you might get someone who can offer a bit more help - I'm still learning the Mummy thing - sorry.

Well I know not everyone will agree with this but when my ds was 5 weeks we gave him brown sugar in warm water. It did really help.
Is she too young for lactalose?

Sez23 · 07/04/2007 22:14

don't have a clue. haven't got any in house though. dp out, stuck in middle of nowhere with no transport. just getting a bit worried

Give her calpol until you can get to a chemist. It will make you both feel better. Or you'll just be worried all night. Plenty of fluids for her too.

Sez23 · 07/04/2007 22:24

me as well. just had small poo. thanks for oil advice. off for alcoholic fluids now..
