So here’s the horrible news. I tested positive for Chlamydia a few days ago and took the antibiotics to treat it. I have no idea how long I’ve had it but I’m guessing over a year atleast.
I’m terrified it will effect my fertility as I’ve read about PID and have had symptoms such as pain in abdomen, back pain and painful urination. I haven’t however, had pain during sex or bled after/ between periods.
Anyone who has suffered PID, or knows anything about it would help me massively! I’ve rung my doctors but they said there’s no point doing a fertility test as of my age ( grr ). I’m not sure if the swab test would of picked up the infection?
