Worried about husband's health. Urine test results

Hello my husband has been not feeling to good for a few months now. He went to the doctors for blood tests a few months ago and was told they were fine.
So carried on as normal but his appetite is off now, he's been having heart palpitations and constantly thirsty and he generally just feels run down and ive noticed the other week how really poorly he looked.
He got a virus we thought and it knocked him for six. Me and my children didn't get the virus, a couple of people from my husband's work had it but they were fine in a few days. So my husband booked an appointment at the doctors they said it could be a virus but also could be something else so they said to do bloods which my husband had a few months ago , He mentioned this to the doctor and she said it was over 12 months ago which it wasn't as it was only a few months ago, so I don't know what has gone on there. He took a urine sample in on Friday i was with him and when we were in the car the urine pot was in the drink holder, I looked down at it and there was lots of like foamy bubbles on the top of it. I have had loads of urine samples and none of mine have been frothy and ive carried them around with me in my bag before I was to get then checked and it's never looked like this. So I asked him is his urine usually foamy and he said yep. He had his bloods taken yesterday.
We got his results from for the urine sample today and the receptionist said that there back and the doctor wants to see him about the results. The bloods obviously won't be back for a week or so and he has an appointment for next Thursday.

I'm just worrying mainly because if it's a urine infection then shouldn't the doctor want to see him sooner rather than later if my husband maybe needs antibiotics as next Thursday is over a week away.

Then I cannot think what else it could be and I did the stupid thing going on Dr Google and am quite worried about what I read.

Sorry if this is long and thank you in advance to everyone that has read this.

Men’s urine froths easier than women’s more force behind the stream. Froth isn’t diagnostic in itself.
Sounds like possible diabetes to me, lethargy, thirsty.

We were thinking it could be diabetes
