Just that really. For almost a year I persistently have a temperature over 38 most days. Saw GP in March and got referred to a haemotologist. CRP always raised and has been since having my children 4 years ago. Loads of blood tests done. No sign of cancer.
Positive ANCA, Positive EBV. Found benign growths on liver so that's another thing ruled out. My consultant doesn't have a clue and not sure where he is going to refer me next.

I'm thinking maybe endocarditis.. so will suggest it.

But I've spent ages.... Possibly the last two years fatigued with a general feeling of unwellness as well as headaches and feeling a of muzzyness. Ihave upper right quadrant back pain so have had chest scans..all come back clear.

It's all very good news in that nothing sinister has been found yet. But I don't want to be discharged because it's been going on so long. Husband agrees it's definitely a high temp

I have to take my temp 3-4 times a day for my consultant so I can never switch off from this.

Anyone got any similar experience and what did it turn out to be?

I had recurrent fevers after the birth of my first DD. Symptoms were just general feeling of unwell, tired, and fever. Eventually I started getting pelvic pain. They then found after swabs I had pelvic inflammatory disease and was given strong antibiotics for a couple weeks. No fevers since! It was only after about 18 months after having DD that the pain came, and they reckoned the infection was in my fallopean tubes etc.
They think it was caused by the grade 3 tear letting that strain of bacteria in I think.

Well, I have ME as far as it's diagnosable and have an almost constantly raised temperature, not v high but high enough to register, joint etc aches and pains as if I were going down with flu, sore throat, muzzy head and constant fatigue. Check ME out too. Before I went down that route I checked for vitamin and iron deficiencies.

Thank you. It's so frustrating constantly knowing you don't feel quite right and everyone not quite understanding it.
