FAsting blood test, have I ruined it?

I was told not to eat anything for 12 hours before but not about drinking. Just had the blood taken this morning, an hour after I had a smalll cup of decaf tea with a tiny bit of milk. Will this be a problem do you know?

Yes you should only drink water , tell the nurse taking the bloods , they may reschedule you for tomorrow

I'm not been tested for glucose, Its for coeliac. Sorry, I should have said that before.

I had one of those mint breath freshener tiny little tablets before my glucose fasting test and it didn't affect it. Not sure that helps though, sorry
