Referred to ENT.....?

What will happen when we go for my DD's appointment?

She has SN and we have lots of appointments and now this to add to the list!

Just wanted to know what to expect (shes 5)

I have mentioned to her Paed a few times now about it as she always seems so congested, always so snotty, she sneezes and its everywhere sometimes (sorry lol)

she is often nasly sounding and pokes at her ears a bit, doesnt like the water running into them when she ahs her hair washed

(to be honest she is very like me, apart from the sneezes lol lol, I have never done anything about it as I am terrified about having anything up my nose, but I suffer headaches often, she has enough to deal with already so want to get it sorted)

they may look in her nose and her ears, listen to her chest (might suggest a hearing test if you think this is a problem)

might ask about allergies, any times when you notice her nose runs more/sneezes more

When i saw ENT Specialist (many years age) they look in my ears, nose, and throat. They also did x rays to see if i had poplys(sp). I also had hearing test and skin tests.

I was found to have chronic rhaintis(sp) i am allegic to small partical's have a constant cold symptions and hayfever.
