On crutches and my left hand really hurts.

At the very bottom of the thumb, where it meets the wrist.
Could it be that I'm using the crutches incorrectly or have them at the wrong height do you think?

Crutches really do take their tol. I bought gel cycling gloves which made a real difference.

I used some insulation covers for pipes on my crutches. It made them much easier to use.
