Loss of appetite after birth

Hi all, wasn't sure where to post this but I have completely lost my appetite after birth. My baby is 7 weeks now and it's not getting any better. I stopped feeding myself a few weeks ago (due to other issues) so it's not affecting my milk supply.

I can probably manage one meal a day and for the others I pick away. I was never a big eater before I fell pregnant but ate very well when I was pregnant.

Did anyone else experience this?

I was literally just googling this. I delivered my twins 12 days ago and eating anything is a battle. Great for shifting the baby weight but I suspect not so good for my poor, recovering body.

yes i had this! it came back slowly! i am still BF though which i think makes me ravenous. i barely ate a ything for the first couple of weeks.

This happened to me but looking back it was my anxiety and a little bit of pnd. My baby had colic and all of the above plus lack of sleep really affected my appetite. How are things generally? Are you feeling ill otherwise? I would probably mention it to your health visitor and see what they say?

My little boy has colic and silent relfux, to be honest I'm feeling a little low about all that. Will mention it to her, maybe it's a touch of everything. Thanks for all responses :) glad to hear I'm not the only one! Xx

and no illness at all, just tired. The not eating won't be helping that!

I had this. I was quite poorly with an infection ( not saying that you are ), but maybe worth getting checked out.
