Recently had an urgent referral to skin cancer clinic for a suspected melanoma which had all the classic signs, new "freckle" with darker coloured spots in it, vague edges etc. Consultant wants to do a "wait and see" over the next two months and has arranged for the freckle/mole to be medically photographed so she can compare changes. She's also told me to come back urgently if anything changes. Got me thinking for peace of mind I'd like a whole body mole check as I'm quite freckly and mole-y. I'm happy to pay privately for peace of mind, does anyone have any recommendations in the NW? Any idea of price would be good too!
