Ok, so we all know 'it's viral' means 'sod off, no ABs for you' ...

... are there other codes doctors use to talk to patients? I'm not after the old NFN type stuff, but things like 'it's viral' ...

I've ended up starting a thread about weirdo health problems, but yeah, a bit paralysed. He wouldn't use an arm one time, and a leg another. He was 1 year and 18 months, the two times, so couldn't explain what was up. We had xrays, consultants, the whole nine yards, particularly as the leg paralysis mucked up his gait (18 months) and DH's family is infested with medics. No answers, no treatment, no clue (shocker, what with there being nothing weird on xrays, no pain, no nothing). Freak.

He's not done it since then and has nothing wrong with him physically.
