Have been poorly on and off for a while, bad throat infection (Pharangitis or something) which has come back.

Doc is sending me for blood tests next week to see if it is Glandular Fever but surely I would be aware of it if I had it. Or had had it.

He says that as I have had tons of colds and been very tired, I could have had it recently and be recoving now, hence the infections.

Is he talking through his qualified arse?

Yes! I was catching one thing after another - in 6 weeks i had at least 4 off work - mainly things like sinusitis, chest infections etc.

It was only because my MOTHER (v unusual for someone of my age to get it let alone her age) was diagnosed as having it, Dr realised i had it too.

What a fun time that was!

Was off my food for about a year - very unlike me.
