...what dose is best

reputedly it heals gums and cancer
helps metabolism and weight loss

and I'm hoping keeps me from getting old

so what dose 30mg or 200mg a day?

well I shall report back in 30 years time to tell you if it has worked!

there must be somebody who has taken it or thought my goodness a cureall it is worth a try?

i'm interested, but no idea if it works or not. Would take it myself if not still breastfeeding.

noddyholder · 03/04/2007 17:38

My dp started taking it as he has dodgy gums but it seemed to virtually cure his arthritis in his neck.He stopped taking it and his neck started hurting within a week so he is back on it.

zippitippitoes · 03/04/2007 17:43

well I've started taking it..but not sure how much to take

it seems to have very positive hype

OP posts:
zippitippitoes · 03/04/2007 17:56

this is interesting but all a bit too scientific for my poor arty farty brain

here

it seems that it may or may not be increased in the tissues when you supplement it and no one gets deficient disease from lack of it

but it may have a positive effect in cardio vascular effects..which is what I am hoping as one whose blood creeps around

OP posts:
noddyholder · 03/04/2007 17:58

In america it is standard treatment in some hospitals for cardiomyopathy(which I have)so I am going to take it too Shall we check in once a week and report what we find?

zippitippitoes · 03/04/2007 18:01

yes will be interested

not sure how I shall be able to tell the difference but I am keen to get my cardio vascular system potentially fitter or less poor

noddyholder · 03/04/2007 18:31

My dp noticed a real difference in his overall health after about 4 weeks which is amazing as he bah humbugs everything

zippitippitoes · 03/04/2007 18:34

goody shall see..how much did he take?

90mg a day Was on special offer so we bought loads!I am going to start with 90 too

Tillyboo · 03/04/2007 22:33

I take 50mg a day and although I've been taking other supplements (vitamin B6, multi vitamin - as I'm on the Neris and India Idiot Proof Diet) I feel so much better as regards my existing problems.
I've had chronic back pain and hip pain (psoas muscle) for a couple of years (since the birth of my 3yo dd) and the hip pain has almost vanished and my lower back pain has got soooo much better.
It had got to the stage where I was having trouble moving around, I couldn't walk up stairs or step up without excruciating pain.
I attribute the improvement to Q10 so personally I would recommend it. It's reputed to be an antioxident too.
I think you can up the dose, I think my pot say's take between 1-3 capsules per day but check with a pharmacist or health food staff

zippitippitoes · 04/04/2007 07:11

I'm trying 60mg I think..it is so expensive but on offer at Holland & for 4.99 for 30x30mg at the moment
