My DS1 (age 3 next week) has a rash on his arm. It is red and raised but not like dry skin. At first it looked like a burn (about 2ish inches long. But we know he didn't burn himself, it just appeared. It spread to about 6 inches long now but it's really strange because its very linear (only 1/2 inch wide, but 6 inches long) It doesn't bother him at all though. Took him to the doctors last week and she said it was a scratch that has got infected (?). Gave him some cream but it's not made a bit of difference so far. I will take him back Wednesday if still no difference but was just wondering if anyone had experienced similar? No other rash anywhere else.

OMG! On a completely different subject my dh just put my top on to go have a ciggie outside! He's parading in it now!

Sorry, I can't help on the rash but you've made me laugh about your DH. At least he puts something on, my DH goes to put out the rubbish in the garden in his pants!

Would definitely go back to GP if the cream doesn't work.

Ok, so I took DS2 back to the docs yesterday and they're completely baffled. Doctor gave the really helpful advice of 'come back in a week'. They're going to arrange a biopsy if it's still there next week (had this rash for 1 month now).
