Mirena IUCD

Does anyone have any experience of the Mirena IUCD? good, bad, or indifferent. I am slightly alarmed at the possibility of Hirsuitism, as mentioned in the possible side effects

There are a few older threads with some reports of fairly alarming side effects, though I never had any apart from slightly tender breasts.

Sure that plenty of other people will be along.

I thought it was great, no probs at all, no side effects etc. I will be using it again after this baby is born.

Thanks for the link to recent thread NormaStanley, I suppose I will give it a go, I can always have it removed. My main worry is weight gain as I've finally lost "baby weight"( 4 years, and 2 babies) and I don't want it back!!
